K-8 Dean of Students
Elayna Wilson is excited to begin her first year here at ANCS.
Ms. Wilson earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Salisbury State University. She also has an M.S. in Foundations of Education Research from Troy State University, and earned an Educational Leadership Add-On from Kennesaw State University. Ms. Wilson is currently taking courses to complete her Ed.S, as well as beginning coursework towards a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Cambridge College.
Prior to coming to ANCS, Ms. Wilson taught at several elementary and middle schools in Maryland and Georgia, serving as a classroom teacher for ten years in grades 3, 4, and 5. She has been a Curriculum Support Teacher, an SST Coordinator and the Curriculum Assistant Principal at Fulton County’s Sandtown Middle School. Ms. Wilson also served as the Staff Development Administrator, Testing Coordinator and 8th Grade Assistant Principal at Lindley Middle School in Mableton, Georgia. She has extensive experience in Response to Intervention/Brain-Based Learning and Classroom Management Strategies.
Ms. Wilson appreciates the collaborative environment she sees throughout the school. She is impressed with the supportive families she has met and admires their dedication and commitment to their children’s education. Spending time with her husband, jogging, and watching football fills her free time. She also enjoys sports cars and shoe shopping.
