Wednesday Support and Enrichment

Purpose: Each Wednesday at the ANCS middle campus, there is a block of time in the schedule for “support and enrichment”. This time is set aside to give students an opportunity to get support in their Humanities or Math/Science/Technology classes or to pursue an interesting topic or skill as part of an enrichment class. In the enrichment classes there is no homework or grades—it is simply a time for enrichment.

How it Works: Each term, students will get to choose between several different options for enrichment classes (some students may be assigned to an academic support class if recommended by teachers). Each term, there will be a new choice of class options for students to choose from, though some classes may be offered each term. The classes are run by ANCS middle campus teachers. Students will pick their top two choices and efforts will be made to place each student into one of his/her top two choices.
