Brittnay Sattler

Kindergarten Teacher

Brittnay Sattler began working at ANCS as a Georgia State intern in 2011. She considers the years spent here as the most valuable career and personal development that she has experienced. Her areas of expertise include conscious discipline, reading/writing workshops, and relationship building.

Prior to coming to ANCS, she worked as an assistant in the primary community at Discovery Montessori Academy and the Children’s Garden. Ms. Sattler started her ANCS journey as part of the New Teacher Residency Project, which is now CREATE.

Ms. Sattler earned a B.S.E. in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL endorsement from GSU. She is planning to pursue a Master’s Degree in Social Foundations of Education. For Ms. Sattler, the best part of working at ANCS is the energy and how it feels like a big family. She enjoys teaching through the lens of constructivism and the natural world!

Ms. Sattler has traveled to over 30 countries and spent her childhood in Saudi Arabia. She loves adventures such as traveling, skydiving, meeting new people, and trying exotic foods. She is the proud mom of a rising 7th grader. She is excited to continue her teaching at a place where she loves to be!
