Somer Hobby

Middle Campus Instructional Coach & MYP Coordinator

Somer Hobby began teaching at ANCS in 2006. Previously she worked as an 8th grade Science teacher in Fulton County Schools.  Before that she worked as an athletic trainer.

As an instructional coach and Middle Years Programme coordinator, Ms. Hobby says that the best part of working at ANCS is working with fellow teachers who are very thoughtful in their practice and also getting to know each student she teaches really well.

In addition to spending time with her partner and puppies, Ms. Hobby enjoys various sports and other outdoor activities.

Ms. Hobby has a B.S. in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Valdosta State University. She also has a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College and State University.
