Tawanda joined ANCS in the 2014-2015 school year as a Kindergarten Associate Teacher. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration from Clark Atlanta University as well as a Master’s of Divinity from Emory University. She has several years of teaching experience and especially enjoys teaching writing. 

Prior to joining the ANCS faculty, Ms. Morgan was an administrator of a non-profit for over three years. Before then, she worked for MARTA in both the Safety and Community/ Government Relations department.

Ms. Morgan describes herself as an active and consistent learner who is not afraid to work hard and be creative in teaching. She loves children and sees them as essential contributors to their personal learning as well her own learning. Ms. Morgan is originally from Washington, DC but settled in Atlanta twelve years ago. In her free time, she loves to travel, dance, and read.
