This committee ensures that Parent Representatives are lined up for each Advisory at the middle campus. At the elementary campus they coordinate activities, help coordinate volunteers and serve as a direct line of communication for families about class information.

A school favorite, “Box Tops Matt” has built a robust following during his Morning Meeting appearances as he helps build funds for our school. Matt and committee search for fun and easy ways our families can participate in incentive programs that give money back to our school.

This committee maintains and improves our school buildings and grounds and coordinates school-wide work-days for buildings and grounds maintenance.

Health & Wellness Committee
This committee brings together all the great resource families need to keep healthy, well and stay informed. Our focus is to bring greater awareness and active participation in the areas of nutrition, fitness, allergy management and wellness practices. Our initiatives include the Run with the Wolves in the spring, developing allergy and snack policies and encouraging safe healthy practices school-wide.

New Family Partners
This program helps familiarize new families with the school, offers an opportunity for them to meet other ANCS families, and encourages new families to get involved in their child’s education by partnering them with an individual whose family has been at the school for a year or more.

Helps to continue to develop and implement an arts, music, Spanish, and physical education program within the school. The Sustainability Committee is a group of parents working with our students, principals, teachers and outside organizations committed to improving our living environment. We reflect on our daily practices in the school and community to better lessen our footprint on the earth. We are committed to creating progress toward a healthy environment in our school community by reducing many forms of waste; creating with what we have; and nurturing to rebuild that which has been depleted. Our committee aims to educate ourselves and our community to sustain resources for future generations.

Third Friday Coffee & Principal’s Coffee
A social tradition at the Elementary School campus, this Third Friday morning coffee klatch let’s families get to know each other and talk about all the goings on at our wonderful school. Principal Underwood hosts regular coffees each month to connect and communicate with families.
