Irina Brimmell

Treasurer; Finance & Operations Chair

Irina Brimmell started her term on the ANCS Board in July 2021. She and her husband reside in Ormewood Park with their three kids – an ANCS kindergartener, a preschooler, and an infant.

Finance and business operations have always been her passion, supported by various professional roles within accounting, finance, treasury, and supply chain fields. Ever since her oldest child started preschool, she felt a strong desire to get involved with the early education organizations on the business side in order to further the mission and operations of local non-profit preschools. She served on the Board of Grant Park Cooperative Preschool and volunteered on the Finance and Operations Committee on the ANCS Board.

Irina feels very fortunate to be a part of the community with intentional focus on the whole child. Her hope is to support this focus by contributing her finance and accounting expertise along with her detail-oriented and inquisitive approach as a member of the ANCS Board.

Irina earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Temple University, and her MBA at the University of Michigan. She is also originally from the Ukraine and enjoys sharing her heritage with family and friends.
