Fund Development Coordinator (Part-Time)

Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (ANCS) is seeking a part-time Fund Development Coordinator to advance the school’s mission by coordinating and managing the fund development program. Working under the direction of the Executive Director and closely with the Governing Board’s Communication and Advancement committee, this position is responsible for raising funds primarily through the Gather & Grow Fund, corporate sponsorship program, and our annual fundraiser and community-building event, Wonderball.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with the mission and goals of ANCS.
  • Oversee the annual fundraising campaign for the Gather & Grow Fund.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners to secure sponsorship opportunities for school events and initiatives. This involves prospect research, proposal development, and stewardship of sponsors.
  • Work closely with Wonderball Chairs to offer assistance, including volunteer recruitment, data entry, and technology support utilizing designated software, as well as managing sponsor obligations, on-site auction logistics, and more.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with donors, providing regular updates on fundraising initiatives and expressing appreciation for their support.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor information, contributions, and fundraising activities using the school’s database (Bloomerang).
  • Generate regular monthly Fund Development reports and other ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to Wonderball Committee. Serve as school liaison, provide input for major questions and decisions, oversee fulfillment sponsorship obligations, and collaborate on budget and overall goals.
  • Work collaboratively with school leadership, staff, ANCS Governing Board, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of fundraising strategies and events.

ANCS Director of Operations and Finance

Qualifications:
The qualifications preferred for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, business administration, communications) preferred.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, development, or related fields preferred.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and steward donors effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising software is desirable.

Calendar:
220-day employee | Up to approximately 20 hours per week
