At Home Strep Tests

Sore throats always seem to show up at the worst times — late at night, before school, or right before a busy workday. To help make things easier for families, Kore MD Health and Wellness is offering point-of-care rapid strep tests for $15 per swab. They can drop off the swabs to you or you’re welcome to pick them up from their office to keep on hand at home. If the test is positive, they’ll connect promptly to decide whether an antibiotic is appropriate and get treatment started if needed. Their goal is to help you avoid unnecessary urgent care or ER visits while still getting quick, reliable answers when your kiddo isn’t feeling well.
