Dear Eighth Grade Families,

If you could be a fly on the wall, here’s a glimpse of what you might see this semester at TNS: 

• Mock energy drink presentations including profit margins, environmental impact, target demographics, competitive analysis, customer profiles, and culture connections as part of a full year Entrepreneurship curriculum. 

• Power tools whirring under the TNS tent in 9th grade Physics. 

• Juniors writing their own political satire in the style of 18th century master of the genre, Jonathan Swift.

• Inquiry at Monday Night Brewery about the hop shortages due to wildfires, distribution’s impact on sales, and how local farmers benefit from their collection facility for nutrient rich spelt. 

• Screen printing in Design class and a TNS Senior taking off after lunch for their internship at a local screen printing shop.
