Delun Attwooll

2nd Grade Teacher

Delun has a Bachelors in English from Georgia State University, and has recently obtained his teaching certification.. He has a TEFL certification from Uni-prep program. He has worked in the school setting for seven years, and he is entering his second year at ANCS.

Prior to joining ANCS, he was an educator at the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool. He then moved to Kanazawa City in Japan to work as an English teacher. From there, he moved to Tokyo to teach and was promoted to manager (principal) of an after school English Immersion school. He missed teaching so he took a job at English Studio, an international school for students who were returning or moving to Japan from English speaking countries.He loved Tokyo and teaching an international school curriculum, but he wanted to see more of the world, so he took a job teaching a specials class (English) in South Korea. Recently, he was forced to come home to Atlanta due to the pandemic. He taught at Inman Park Cooperative Preschool, and now he is happy to enter his second year at ANCS.

Delun loves to write and has published ten fiction stories and travel articles. He also enjoys soccer, hiking, and traveling.
