Indya Armstrong earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education with concentrations in Mathematics & Social Studies from Georgia State University. She recently completed her student-teaching (practicum) in the 2019-2020 school year.

Prior to ANCS, Ms. Armstrong worked with Breakthrough Atlanta, a non-profit organization to help students’ develop social and academic qualities needed to be successful in college. Through BTA’s High School Readiness Program, she served as a Teaching Mentor. She mentored rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders teaching math in preparation for their upcoming school year.

Ms. Armstrong enjoys all things Disney, spending time playing with her son-phews (nephews), doing TikTok dances with her niece and little sister, and traveling to new places!
