JoyNaya Foster

1st Grade Teacher

JoyNaya Foster joined ANCS as a First Grade Associate Teacher in 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Spelman College and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education at Augusta University.

Ms. Foster brings five years of experience in education. She previously worked at Resurgence Hall Charter School, where she served as both a kindergarten and first grade associate teacher, and later as a kindergarten lead teacher. Most recently, she taught at Ethos Classical Charter School, spending one year as a kindergarten associate teacher and another as a lead teacher.

She has taught all core subjects but is especially passionate about phonics instruction. Ms. Foster believes that literacy is the foundation of success and opens the door to a life full of opportunity.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys dancing, practicing yoga, and reading.
