Kelly (McKenzie) Dressler has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. She is a certified Special Education teacher for grades K-12. In 2016, she earned an AA degree in Psychology from the College of Coastal Georgia. With this degree, she fell in love with child behavior and development. Most recently, she earned an Endorsement to teach ESOL and finished her Coaching Endorsement in December of 2022.

This is Kelly’s 6th year teaching at ANCS (7th if you include her student teaching year through the CREATE program teaching in 4th Grade). She taught Kindergarten for 4 years, worked as a Learning Lab Specialist last year and this year is returning to Kindergarten (and First Grade). Prior to teaching she was a UPS Store Manager and served at various restaurants.

Kelly grew up on St. Simons Island, GA and has now lived in Atlanta for 7 years. She enjoys traveling and has visited four continents. She is an adventurous eater who loves to cook and try new foods, especially spicy foods (like to the point of tears). Kelly enjoys spending time with her niece and three nephews. A few of her other interests include hiking, kayaking, reading, going to the beach, and being creative.

Kelly got married in Savannah in November of 2022. She and her husband live in Decatur and spend a lot of their free time gardening and working on home improvements.
