LaToya Mitchell

6th/7th Grade Design Teacher

LaToya Mitchell is in her first year as the 6th/7th Design Teacher at ANCS. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Education from Georgia State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Beulah Heights University. With 17 years of experience as an educator, LaToya brings a rich background in Social Studies, ELA, and Technology. Prior to teaching, she owned her own business and worked as both a Cosmetologist and Barber, and has additional experience in writing grants, business proposals, and setting up non-profits.

Outside of the classroom, LaToya enjoys cooking, decorating, learning new things, and spending time traveling with her family and close friends.
