Lindsey Garris

ESS Department Chair

Lindsey Garris has been a special education teacher at ANCS since 2013 when she started as an associate teacher in the Learning Lab after receiving a dual Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. She is so excited to now be the Elementary Campus’ ESS Department Lead, working with teachers on inclusive supports and services in order to serve the diverse group of learners here at ANCS.

Ms Garris finds the best part of working at ANCS to be the strong sense of community amongst the students and teachers. “I feel honored to work with the faculty and staff at ANCS. I come to work every day surrounded by people who motivate me, challenge me, and support me.”

Ms Garris’ interests include spending time with family and friends, exploring and appreciating all that Atlanta has to offer, traveling, cooking, going to concerts, and playing/watching sports.
