Olivia Mettler joined ANCS in 2026 as the Associate Science Teacher. She brings two years of experience in education and enjoys helping students explore new ideas while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
Ms. Mettler earned a Bachelor of Arts from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her background in teaching, writing, and literacy has shaped her approach to education, encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and make meaningful connections across subjects.
Prior to joining ANCS, Ms. Mettler taught introductory composition courses as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida Atlantic University and worked as a writing tutor in the university’s Writing Center. She also provided remote instruction for kindergarten through third-grade English Language Arts students and has professional experience in social media management and digital marketing.
Outside of school, Ms. Mettler is an avid reader and writer who enjoys exploring the ways poetry connects to everyday life. She also loves crocheting—though she’s the first to admit that many of her projects take months to finish.
