EC Principal Letter

Dear ANCS Elementary Families,

We are officially one and a half days away from the end of the 22-23 school year. It has been a year full of growth, both academically and socially/emotionally as we continue to move forward from Covid. It has been a joy to see our school family becoming more and more connected through events and morning meeting participation. I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support and dedication to our school. I look forward to many more years of our wolfpack growing stronger!

Many thanks to Coach Daniel, Ms. Paez and all the parent volunteers who helped make this year’s full field day such an amazing success. It was a fun day for all in spite of the weather being a bit cool and drizzly. Our students still enjoyed going down the water slide, jumping in bouncy houses, playing games on the lower field, getting their faces painted and eating popsicles. There were lots of smiles, good sportsmanship and overall joy!

Please join me in wishing well the members of our school family that have decided to move on from ANCS after this school year. We are grateful for their service to our school and love for our students. We will honor each of them at our morning meeting on Friday morning.

If you missed my courier letter last week, please take a few minutes to go back and look it over. I have a lot of information in there about the dismissal procedure for the last day of school, which is different from our regular dismissal structure. These procedures are in place to support a smooth and safe dismissal for all, and it will take everyone working together to make it work. Remember, dismissal is at 11:30. There is no after school or Boys and Girls Club pick up. Every child will need to be picked up from school on time. Thank you in advance for helping with this.

I am wishing you all a peaceful, beautiful and fun-filled summer break. I can’t wait to see everyone back here for the first day of the 2023-2024 school year.

Wishing you well,

Lara
