Dear ANCS Families and Friends,
I hope you had a chance to see our fantastic production of Bad Ideas for Bad Television Shows over the weekend. The show was a wonderful display of the arts in our school and was funny, too! Thank you to Mr. Aaron, our Performing Arts teacher, for the countless hours of work he puts in with the cast and crew as they prepare for each play. Thank you to Zany Dunlap as well – as Mr. Aaron said, we couldn’t have done it without her. As has been the case for the past few years, we have a musical production to look forward to in the spring. Stay tuned for more from ANCSdrama!
Basketball season tips off this Friday with games against Westside Atlanta Charter. Both games will be at Crim High School with the girls starting at 5:00 and the boys immediately following (likely no later than 6:15 pm). Almost all of the games this year will be held at Crim which is nice for us because it’s so close. Admission to the games is $6 for adults and $3 for students and you can find the season’s schedule here. Come on out to support the basketball Wolves!
Finally, our participation in the Atlanta Community Food Bank drive continues for the rest of this week and next week. The drive will end on Friday, December 14 and we hope to have lots of full boxes when the folks from ACFB come for pick up the following week. If you’re wondering what to donate, the full list was included in my Courier letter last week and can also be found on the collection boxes in the main hallway just outside the main office.
Wishing you well,
