Letter from Executive Director

Dear ANCS Families,

Thank you to all of our grandparents and special visitors for joining us last Friday! Our students and staff welcomed over 600 guests for a truly wonderful day of learning, community building, and deepening our relationships with one another. It was a reminder of the importance of intergenerational connections and the extensive network of support within our community. Our students are lucky and so are we!

A special thanks to Paige Teusink for all of the work she did coordinating the event.

As we head into November, we will also begin our strategic planning work. We are partnering with Purpose Possible to help us develop a strategic plan that includes all of the diverse voices of our community. We will reach out with opportunities to engage in surveys and focus groups so please keep your eyes out for future dates.

Alastair Pullen

Alastair Pullen joined ANCS as Executive Director in 2023. Prior to coming to ANCS, he served as the Principal at the International Community School and held positions as the Dean and Assistant Principal at Wesley International Academy. Alastair’s teaching journey began in Atlanta Public Schools, where he was an English Language Arts and Special Education teacher.
