Service As Action Day This Friday, March 6th

As mentioned in Mr. Sander’s Courier letter last week, this Friday, March 6, our 6th & 7th grader students will engage in Advisory service learning, a core component of ANCS and our IB framework. One thing we often need on these days is parent drivers. For those looking for volunteer or engagement opportunities, the Service as Action Extended Advisory Day is a meaningful way to get involved and support this important work.

In 6th and 7th grade, students build the research, planning, and communication skills they will use for the 8th Grade Community Project. In 8th grade, students identify a community they care about, research its specific needs, and design a meaningful service action in response.
