PTCA Mini-Grants

We are pleased to launch this year’s application for mini grants!

PTCA dues and PTCA fundraisers play an essential role in building community at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School. The money we raise provides needed funding for programs, activities, and materials that enhance students’ experiences at the school. These are some examples of what PTCA mini-grants can support:

  • Classroom field trips
  • Classroom and field equipment
  • Library enhancements
  • Assemblies
  • Extracurricular activities including sports, band, drama club and yearbook
  • Support for travel to national, professional conferences
  • Technology: software and equipment

Applicants will be notified of acceptance within ten business days after the deadline date. Once your submission has been reviewed you will have an additional 30 days to submit an invoice of your order. All orders will be processed by the PTCA’s Treasurer, Megan Gatewood. If you are interested in obtaining a mini-grant, please complete the application below. 

Recipients of mini-grants are asked to provide a written report or other tangible demonstration of how the grant money was used to benefit Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School.

Requirements:
  • PTCA membership is required for applicant and/or recipients to qualify for a mini-grant.
  • Applicants/recipients must be ANCS-based individuals/groups.
  • Mini-grants will not exceed $1,000.
  • The PTCA fund cannot go below $5000 at any time throughout the year, and mini-grants will not be awarded if this is the case.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All mini-grant funds must be used within 30 days of receipt of the grant. If this is not possible, please discuss the schedule with the PTCA treasurer.
