We recently had a Run with the Wolves volunteer interest meeting. If you weren’t able to make it, here are slides that were shared.
As you review the slides, you’ll see there’s a need for two groups of volunteers: (1) volunteers to serve on the planning committee (meet once a month for about an hour and a little bit of work in between meetings) and (2) volunteers to help with various tasks right before/on race day on May 6 (most volunteer shifts are about an hour each).
If you would be willing to serve on the planning committee, please Matt Underwood at email@example.com and he will include you in follow up communications as we schedule our first planning committee meeting in the next couple of weeks. This committee’s needs are volunteer coordinator, marketing, t-shirts, awards/swag bags, training runs, and race day logistics.
If you don’t want to be on the planning committee but would be willing to help as we get closer to the event, email Matt Underwood at firstname.lastname@example.org and he’ll follow up with you after spring break.
And volunteering won’t prevent you from running in the race itself! Nearly all of the volunteer needs can be handled and still allow you to run with the Wolves on May 6!
If you have any questions, please contact Matt Underwood at email@example.com. We appreciate your help!
