APS Zoning Considerations & Community Feedback

Some families may have heard that Atlanta Public Schools is considering several scenarios that could impact the current attendance zones for Parkside Elementary, Benteen Elementary, and Barack & Michelle Obama Academy.

While the proposed changes would not directly impact ANCS students or ANCS attendance zones, we recognize that they may affect some ANCS families who also have children attending other APS schools.

APS shared information about the proposed scenarios at last Tuesday’s Board meeting and is currently gathering community feedback. Families who would like to learn more can review the information shared by APS and complete the APS community survey to provide feedback.
