We are closely monitoring the continuing surge in COVID-19 community transmission. The number of cases in our school family remains low, but we are working to ensure we are prepared should further mitigation strategies become necessary.
To that end, we would like your input on a proposed “choice hybrid” platform currently under consideration. This shift would occur only if/when public health data called for it. In this scenario, we would allow parents/caregivers to choose remote learning instead of in-person learning for their students. This selection would be made at various checkpoints throughout the semester, and parents/caregivers would be required to stick with their choice until the next checkpoint.
The leadership team is currently working with faculty and staff on the details for this contingency plan, but please note that schedules – and perhaps even teacher assignments – may change for your students based on those details.
