Join us for a Celebration of Food, Farm and Culture on Tuesday, Oct. 24
Join us at the Elementary Campus School Farm on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 6:00pm-7:30pm for a celebration of food, farming, and culture. We’ll take a look at the role food and farming plays in upholding our school family values of equity and inclusivity, discuss identity through food, and hear from farmer, activist, and horticultural therapist Bilal Sarwari. Light refreshments featuring school farm produce will be provided by the ANCS Nutrition team, and there will be opportunities to win books about food and farming for adults and kids alike. This event is suitable for the whole family, including those with elementary and middle school students, and all are welcome; we’ll have crafts and games to keep our youngest farm friends active and entertained. Please RSVP here to let us know you’re coming!
