Upcoming Events on the Farm
We’ll be working together on the farm this Saturday, March 21, 10-11:30am, at the Middle Campus. Much of our work will focus on moving soil, cleaning up perennial spaces, spreading wood chip mulch, and transplanting more raspberries and blackberries in the orchard. As usual, the farm will provide tools, work gloves, and supplies for all; you just need a full, reusable water bottle, close-toed shoes, layers of clothing for warmth (and for peeling off when we inevitably warm up!), and a willingness to try new things and perhaps get a little dirty. We’ll also have coffee, tea, and snacks for fueling our mission. Please RSVP here to let us know you’re coming.
Then we’ll gather again next week–lucky us!–on Tuesday, March 24, 6-7:30pm, at the Elementary Campus for our Spring Food, Farm, and Culture event. As usual, it will be an evening full of connection, conversation, and community for the whole family. We’ll have light bites from our wonderful nutrition team, book raffles for kids and adults, too, and the opportunity to listen to and learn from women in food and farming. Please RSVP here so we can plan to welcome you accordingly.
