Update: Looking at Nearby Land Opportunities

As part of the strategic planning process, the Governing Board continues to study the unmet demand for seats at our school and the need for facilities to support the athletic programs at the middle campus. The board adopted a resolution at the April meeting to explore land opportunities in our immediate area. The agenda for the May 18th Governing Board meeting included an in-depth discussion about Skyhaven Quarry; a set of parcels currently under consideration for purchase by the school. No further action was taken toward the purchase of the property, but it remains a viable option. Other real estate opportunities are also being considered.
