Jessica Shelley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia and a Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. She also holds a Certification in School Library Media from the University of West Georgia.

Ms. Shelley has been teaching for 16 years. She began working at ANCS in 2008. Prior to working at ANCS, Ms. Shelley taught for four years at Margaret Winn Holt Elementary in Gwinnett County.

During her tenure at ANCS, she has been a third, fourth, and fifth-grade classroom teacher, Academic Assistance teacher for fourth and fifth grade, and currently loves being the elementary school teacher librarian. Ms. Shelley finds the best part of working at ANCS to be the loving community created by the faculty, students and parents.

Outside of school she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and working in her yard.
