Monica Arrington

2nd Grade Teacher

Monica Arrington joined the ANCS faculty in the 2015-2016 school year. Ms. Arrington earned a B.A. in Music from Auburn University, and she completed post-baccalaureate studies in Music at Georgia State University. She has also completed graduate studies in teaching at Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ms. Arrington became a certified teacher in 2007, then began teaching in Clayton County Public  Schools. She moved on to teach in Dekalb County and City Schools of Decatur. She has several areas of instructional expertise, including technology integration, differentiated instruction, parent-teacher communication, and working with children with special needs.

In her free time, Ms. Arrington enjoys teaching music, playing music, crafting and the performing arts.
