Rhonda Collins

Board Chair

Rhonda Collins is serving her first year on the ANCS Governing Board for the 2020-2021 school year. She is looking forward to bringing her experience from working in the public sector within the local and federal government to this new role. She has previously served on the Board for the Georgia Tech Women Alumnae Network and the State Bar of Georgia’s Diversity Program Committee.

She brings with her a willingness to listen to various opinions and to identify shared interests and goals. As a Board member, Ms. Collins will lean on her legal training to thoroughly analyze and evaluate the ideas that are presented to the ANCS Board and support actions that are in the best interests of the entire ANCS community.

ANCS and its commitment to meeting children exactly where they are and building them up compelled Ms. Collins to volunteer her time to serve on the ANCS Board. ANCS strives to create an environment where children can be their authentic selves, empowering children with the confidence needed to overcome the many challenges they will face as they develop.

Ms. Collins lives in Grant Park with her husband, Christopher, and son, Joseph, who attends preschool. She enjoys running, baking, reading, watching ballets, supporting Georgia Tech football, and spending time with her family.
