Christine Kellum

1st Grade Teacher

Christine Kellum holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Educational Studies and a concentration in Psychology from Chicago State University. She later completed the requirements for Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University.

Christine has been teaching for eight years. Prior to joining ANCS, she was employed as a Kindergarten teacher for two years at Trinity School in Atlanta. During the two years at Trinity, she served as a member of the Literacy and Diversity committee. She also taught at The Wesley School located in North Hollywood, CA for three years where she coached a cheerleading team, planned and chaperoned school parties and other events, and served as an active member of the Diversity Committee.

As a lifelong learner, Christine enjoys visiting museums and historic sites. She also enjoys working out, reading and watching a good TV show. In an effort to explore, she branches out by trying new restaurants around town. Most importantly, spending time dancing, singing Karaoke and playing board games with her family is what she finds extremely rewarding.
