Substitute Teacher (Grades 6-8)

Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School (ANCS) Middle Campus is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic individual to add to our Substitute Teacher call list. This requires willingness to come in the same morning that a call is received.

Duties/responsibilities may include:

• Serving as a substitute lead teacher on an as-needed basis
• Monitoring recess
• Monitoring lunch
• Supporting dismissal
• Supporting office and administrative staff as needed
• Comply with all ANCS policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Reports to:
Directly to Middle Campus Principal

Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma required; Completion of a teacher preparation program and/or degree in education or related field and/or Georgia teacher certification preferred

Compensation:
Daily rate of up to $220/day for candidates with a valid Georgia teaching certificate; $185/day for non-certified candidates
