Parent University: Science of Reading

Parent University is a way for you to learn more about what our curriculum is, how we approach academics and student discipline and ways that we can build the home-school connection and develop our partnership. The first session will be September 12th right after morning meeting in the cafeteria at the Elementary Campus. This first session will focus on the Science of Reading and how ANCS’s curriculum addresses the many components of this approach to teaching reading. This session will be led by our wonderful instructional coaches, Veleta Greer (K-2) & Lesley Michaels (3-5), along with our amazing K-1 Academic Assistance teacher, Brooke McGhee. We hope that you will be able to join us. We will record the informational part of the session and have it available afterwards.
