Evie Dietz
2nd Grade Teacher
Evie joined the ANCS community during the 2020–2021 school year, stepping into a vital support role during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally serving as an adjunct faculty member with the first grade team, she quickly became known for her warmth, adaptability, and strong connections with students. She is now proud to serve as a teacher in second grade, where her passion for fostering curiosity and confidence in young learners continues to flourish.
Before transitioning into education, Evie built a decade-long career in the hospitality industry, excelling in fast-paced environments as a server, bartender, and manager across metro Atlanta. Her experience working with diverse communities helped shape her calm leadership style and people-first mindset—both of which enrich her classroom approach. She also trained as a salon assistant and apprentice, which speaks to her love of creativity and hands-on learning.
Outside of school, you’ll find Evie reading, visiting the beach, spending time with her beloved cat, Juice, or catching up with friends over a great cup of coffee. She is committed to lifelong learning and is excited to continue growing alongside her students and colleagues.
