Bex Godsey

Fund Development Coordinator

Bex Godsey joined ANCS in 2024 as the Fund Development Coordinator. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with the ANCS community and creating opportunities that strengthen the school through philanthropy, partnerships, and engagement.

Ms. Godsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with a minor in Photography from the University of North Florida. Before joining ANCS, she served with both AmeriCorps and Communities In Schools while in college, experiences that sparked her commitment to supporting students and strengthening public education.

Throughout her career, Ms. Godsey has focused on connecting communities and supporting Atlanta’s vibrant cultural landscape. She previously worked in the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Special Events, where she managed permitting and production for many of the city’s signature events. Before that, she worked in the nonprofit sector with Atlanta Celebrates Photography, coordinating public programming, and with the Grant Park Conservancy, leading community engagement efforts. Her work has consistently centered on making public spaces, programs, and experiences more accessible and welcoming for everyone.

Outside of work, Ms. Godsey enjoys exploring new creative hobbies and is always eager to dive into her next project—even if it means collecting all the supplies before mastering the last one. Her current passions include landscape design and native gardening, though she’s always happy to say yes to trying something new, especially if it involves a ceramics class.
