Ruth Link-Gelles

Secretary

Ruth Link-Gelles joined the ANCS Governing Board in 2022. She and her husband, Dan, have lived in the neighborhood since 2017 and have one child at ANCS.

Ruth was initially drawn to ANCS by the school’s farm and its commitment to educating and caring for the whole child. Since becoming part of the community, she has especially valued the kindness and respect ANCS students and alumni show toward others, which she sees as a reflection of the school’s teachers, staff, and community.

Outside of ANCS, Ruth enjoys biking around Atlanta and traveling the world with her family. She is also helping establish the ANCS community-led Bike Bus, which gives students a safe, car-free way to get to school. At home, the family is rounded out by their cat, Lego.
