The open enrollment period for the 2018-19 school year will take place from February 1, 2018 to February 28, 2018. All enrollment application forms received during this period will be included in the enrollment lottery on March 22, 2018. Enrollment applications that are received after February 28, 2018 will be added to the post-lottery waitlist in the order the applications are received.
Please note: all prospective new students--including siblings of current ANCS students--must have a completed enrollment application submitted by February 28, 2018.

Residency Notice: to be enrolled in Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, students must reside full-time in the City of Atlanta with their natural parent(s), legal guardian(s), or legal custodian(s). Students and their parent(s)/ guardian(s)/ custodian(s) must remain full-time City of Atlanta residents for the entire period of enrollment in Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School. For the purpose of this policy, a resident is defined as an individual who is a full-time occupant of a dwelling located in the City of Atlanta (and zoned for a City of Atlanta School) and who, on any given school day, is likely to be at their stated address when not at work or school. A person who owns property in the City of Atlanta, but does not reside in the City of Atlanta , is not considered a resident for the purpose of this policy.
“Economically disadvantaged” students will be provided an increased chance of admission through an additional weight in the enrollment lottery. To be eligible for this additional weight, the applicants may voluntarily indicate if the student listed on the application comes from a household that qualifies as "economically disadvantaged" and if the student's parent/guardian can verify this status upon admission of the student to ANCS. “Economically disadvantaged” shall mean students who qualify for free or reduced price lunch through the federal school lunch program, whose families live below the federal poverty line, or whose families qualify for one or more of the following federal benefits: SNAP, TANF, WIC, Medicaid, or PINS.
