Food, Farm, & Culture

Join us at the Elementary Campus School Farm on Tuesday, October 25th from 6:00pm-7:30pm for an in depth look at the role food and farming plays in upholding our school family values of equity and inclusivity. We’ll dispel some myths of farming in the South, discuss identity through food, and hear directly from some of our student farming leaders. Light refreshments featuring school farm produce will be provided by the ANCS Nutrition team, and there will be opportunities to win books about food and farming for adults and kids alike. This event is suitable for the whole family, and all are welcome. This event is hosted by the newly merged DEAT (Diversity and Equity Action Team) and PTCA (Parent Teacher Community Association).
