Inclusive Schools Week
December 7, 2020 - December 11, 2020
Inclusive Schools Week is December 7th-11th (next week) and the theme is The Time For Inclusion Is Now. We celebrate this each year and are, of course, celebrating virtually this year. Many thanks to our ESS team for helping us get ready and finding a new and creative way to bring this special week to our virtual classrooms. There’s a different theme each day (all under the Inclusive Schools Week umbrella) for students and teachers to dress up. Please encourage your child to get involved and participate each day in support of our inclusive school.
- Monday– Blue Out! Everyone wear blue to kick off Inclusive Schools Week because we are “blue-tiful!”
- Tuesday– Our school family is a unique mixture of people! Wear polka dots and/or stripes // mix-matched clothes, fun patterned socks etc.
- Wednesday – n/a
- Thursday– -“It is all of our JOBs to acknowledge and celebrate our differences. Dress like you’re going to WORK (professional attire)”
- Friday – Pajama day! Because we are dreaming of a kinder, more inclusive world.
