MC Farm Workday

Our school farm crew is seeking help to prepare for and plant perennial food crops at the middle campus farm. We will be laying cardboard sheet mulch, hauling and spreading wood chips, and planting more than 50 strawberry plants. We’ll also be preparing the terraced areas of the farm for crops like asparagus, artichoke, and herbs. Please plan to join us at 820 Essie Ave. anytime between 4-6pm on Tuesday, Nov. 29. We have all the tools we’ll use, but please bring your own work gloves, if needed. This workday is open to adults and families alike, but the chores may not be suitable for children under five.
