Andrew Heacock is a passionate 6th/7th Math Teacher at ANCS. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Mathematics Education from Ashland University and a Masters of Math Education from The University of Northern Iowa. This will be his second year teaching at ANCS.
With an impressive 14 years of experience in the education field, Andrew has honed his skills and expertise. Prior to joining ANCS, he served as an 8th-grade math teacher at Pace Academy, where he also took on additional responsibilities such as coaching volleyball, basketball, and track & field. He taught Robotics and Programming, served as the faculty supervisor of the MS newspaper, and held the position of 8th-grade boys dean. Andrew’s dedication to teaching also led him to The Lovett School, where he taught 7th and 8th-grade math.
On a personal note, Andrew resides in Woodland Hills with his amazing wife Molly and two wonderful young children, Dallas and Mara. A year spent in Nairobi, Kenya for his wife’s work left a lasting impact, and the family continues to visit almost every summer. Outside of teaching, Andrew’s interests include traveling, reading, cooking, and savoring delicious meals. He is thrilled to be a part of the ANCS team and looks forward to making a positive impact in the school community.
