Brittnay Sattler
Kindergarten Teacher
Brittnay Sattler has been a dedicated member of the ANCS community since 2011, starting her journey as an intern. This year marks her 13th year at a place she considers her second home. She specializes in Conscious Discipline, global citizenship, and relationship building.
Before joining ANCS, Ms. Sattler worked in primary education at Discovery Montessori Academy and The Children’s Garden. She began her ANCS career as part of the inaugural cohort in the New Teacher Residency Project, which has evolved into the CREATE Program at Georgia State University. Ms. Sattler remains involved with the program as a cooperating teacher and mentor.
She earned her B.S. in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL endorsement and her M.A. in Creative and Innovative Education from Georgia State University. For Ms. Sattler, the best part of working at ANCS is the strong sense of family within the community. She is passionate about teaching through the lens of constructivism and the natural world.
An avid traveler, Ms. Sattler has visited over 45 countries and spent her childhood in Saudi Arabia. She loves embracing adventures, including skydiving, hiking, meeting new people, and trying exotic foods. Ms. Sattler is also the proud mother of a rising college freshman and is excited to continue her teaching journey at ANCS!
