Christina Jones

6th/7th Sciences Teacher

Christina Jones has a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education from Georgia State University. This is her third year of teaching.

Ms. Jones has held a multitude of jobs in her life that have all led her to education. One of her first jobs was with Mitchell’s Place, a summer camp in Birmingham, Alabama specifically designed for students with neurodiversities. She moved to Georgia to gain residency for school and worked on a farm for two years managing the greenhouse and the production of thousands of seedlings. When Ms. Jones moved to Atlanta to begin her time at Georgia State University, she worked for a small company making circus fire props until graduation.

On the weekend, you can usually find Ms. Jones outside – hiking, kayaking, fishing, and camping – as often as possible. She also loves crafts of any kind and usually has many projects she is working on concurrently. Her favorite time of year is fall, so you may find her decorating her classroom at least a month early for Halloween!
