Erin Collins

2nd Grade Teacher

Erin Collins joined ANCS in 2017. She has taught both first and second grade at ANCS. She is passionate about teaching SEL, hands-on learning, inclusive history, confidence-building, nature conservancy, gardening and writing. Prior to teaching at ANCS, she taught pre-k at the Ormewood School for 5 years, The Howard School for 4 years as well as Druid-Hills United Methodist preschool. She has a bachelors in studio art and a minor in sociology from Georgia State University. Orton-Gillinghan trained.

When she isn’t teaching, doing art camps or tutoring, she runs a small vintage business at a popular antique store called Highland Row Antiques.

Her interests are drinking oat milk lattes, seeing bands, kayaking, collecting treasures, thrifting, crafting, road-trips, patio weather and gardening.
