Kara Myers

Learning Lab Specialist

Kara Myers majored in English Literature and Psychology at The University of Memphis, where she also worked for Peer Power, a non-profit that placed college tutors in underserved classrooms in Memphis. After graduating, Kara joined Teach for America and moved to Indianapolis, where she began teaching Special Education in a middle school setting while earning her Master’s Degree in Special Education.

With eight years of experience in education, Kara has taught Middle School Special Education, High School Writing and Composition, and has also worked in School Operations before transitioning to ANCS.

Outside of work, Kara is a certified yoga instructor, an avid traveler with a goal to visit all U.S. National Parks, and a concert enthusiast.
