Kevin Breakstone
3rd Grade Teacher
Kevin Breakstone is an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and a diverse background. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California Santa Cruz and his teaching credential from Sonoma State University. With over a decade of teaching experience, Mr. Breakstone is now in his 12th year in a school setting. This is his second year at ANCS.
Before joining ANCS, Mr. Breakstone worked as an art instructor at a studio catering to children aged 4 to 14. There, he taught a wide range of artistic disciplines, including ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, sewing, and mosaic. Additionally, he imparted his creative knowledge at a summer camp, focusing on ceramics and sculpture. Prior to his teaching career, Kevin spent some time in the corporate world, working in various office jobs.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Breakstone’s interests are just as diverse as his career. Having recently relocated to Atlanta with his wife and baby in 2022, he enjoys engaging in pottery and sculpture. When not crafting in the studio, Kevin can be found baking delicious pies, indulging in reading and writing, hiking through nature, or cycling along scenic paths. As a testament to his dedication and discipline, he holds a black belt in Kenpo Karate.
With a zest for creativity, a love for teaching, and a well-rounded set of interests, Mr. Kevin Breakstone brings a unique perspective to ANCS and enriches the educational experience for his students.
