Kim Moran

Kindergarten Teacher

Kim Moran earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and English Literature from Rowan University. Additionally, she received a Master of Education in Educational Leadership at Kennesaw State University.

Kim’s teaching career began in 1999 in New Jersey where she served as a kindergarten teacher for three years. When she moved to Atlanta, Kim began teaching in Cobb County where she taught 1st grade for four years. After staying home with her two boys, Kim returned to teaching in 2013 joining our ANCS family. In her 7+ years at ANCS, Kim has served as 1st grade teacher, 2nd grade teacher, and 3rd grade teacher. She even worked as the front desk receptionist for a while! She is thrilled to be returning as a kindergarten teacher, and looking forward to an amazing year!

Kim lives in the neighborhood with her husband (Mike), kids (Mychal- a junior at MJHS & Quinn- an 8th grader at ANCS), and three crazy dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book, traveling to new places, and attending live performances (plays, music, etc.)
