Kristen Datus
1st Grade Teacher
Kristen (German) Datus joined the ANCS faculty in the 2015-2016 school year after a year of working at ANCS through the New Teacher Residency Project (now known as CREATE). During that time she student taught in 4th grade and Kindergarten. She then taught Kindergarten for 3 years, taught as a Learning lab Specialist for 1 year, and two years 3rd grade.
Kristen has a degree in Early Childhood Education with a certification in Special Education K-12 from Georgia State University. Along with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and an endorsement in Mathematics.
Kristen previously worked as a Girl Scout Counselor for Camp Timber Ridge, an Upward Bound Tutor Counselor, and as a Resident Assistant for Georgia State University Housing.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys hiking, reading, running, Lyra, traveling, and spending with family.
