Lea Price

ESS Associate Teacher

Lea Price graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Photography and also spent two years studying and playing Division 1 basketball at Florida State University. Lea has been a part of the ANCS family for 11 years as a parent, and this year marks her third year working at the school and coaching the middle school girls’ basketball team.

Before joining ANCS, Lea took five years off to stay home with her youngest child. When he started kindergarten, she was excited to get back to work! Outside of school, Lea has a passion for camping and backpacking. She has already backpacked nearly 200 miles of the Appalachian Trail and aims to eventually complete the entire trail.

Lea, her wife, and their two children, Alice (a sophomore at The New School) and Billie (a third-grader at the elementary school), share their home with a lively assortment of animals, including two dogs, a bearded dragon, hamsters, and a flock of eleven ducks. Coach Lea is eager to lead her basketball team to victory!
